Inclusion
Accessibility
AskJeannie is committed to making our platform usable by everyone, regardless of ability or the technology they use.
Our commitment
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. This means we work to ensure our site is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for all users β including those who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technologies.
What we've done
- βSemantic HTML elements and appropriate ARIA roles throughout the site
- βSufficient colour contrast ratios on all text and interactive elements
- βKeyboard-navigable menus, forms, and interactive components
- βAlt text on all meaningful images
- βFocus indicators visible on all interactive elements
- βForms with properly associated labels
Known limitations
We're a small team and we're continually improving. Some third-party components (such as map embeds) may not fully meet our accessibility standards. We're working to address these over time.
